Australian Data Science Network (ADSN)

The aim of the Australian Data Science Network (ADSN) is to connect the concentrations of expertise in data science across Australia, in order to improve communication, encourage collaboration, expand opportunities, and promote our individual and collective capabilities. The ambition is clearly and deliberately to enhance and expand opportunities and outcomes for all members of the ADSN.

Acems

For more than seven years, the ARC Centre of Excellence for Mathematical & Statistical Frontiers (ACEMS) created world-class research at the frontiers of the mathematical sciences dealing with probability and randomness, translating this research into new insights that benefited society. ACEMS also created this podcast. The Centre concluded at the end of 2021, but is still involved in supporting The Random Sample.

OPTIMA

Headquartered in Melbourne Connect, the ARC Training Centre in Optimisation Technologies, Integrated Methodologies, and Applications (OPTIMA) brings together the various interdisciplinary fields with advanced optimisation technologies: mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, and economics. OPTIMA’s industry partner cohort spans the energy resources, advanced manufacturing and critical infrastructure sectors.

Australian Mathematical Society (AustMS)

The Australian Mathematical Society (AustMS) promotes the mathematical sciences and their applications in Australia. AustMS represents mathematics, and the interests of mathematics-related professions, to the Australian community and government.

Statistical Society of Australia (SSA)

The Statistical Society of Australia (SSA) is the home for professionals working in statistics. It’s a place to connect with others, advance your career, and feel inspired. The SSA’s core purpose is to connect you with great people and great opportunities, so you can be successful in your current role and with your career aspirations.

MATRIX

MATRIX is a residential research institute for the mathematical sciences in Australia. Based on a shared desire to build Australia’s strength and position in the mathematical sciences, MATRIX is an equal partnership between the Australian National University, Monash University and the University of Melbourne. The University of Queensland is an associate member.
